Kusama’s Infinity Room Project

Wow. Saw this at The Tate Modern and all I can say it took my breath away. The Infinity Mirrored Room is a large scale fully immersive art installation by the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. What’s amazing is it the paradoxical and illusion based nature of the execution with lights and mirrors, Kusama creates something that is so visually stunning, beautiful and simple that draws the viewer in and actively gets them participating in the art. What does it mean? Not sure. We could be here all day debating whether it means, love, life, art, death the infinity of the universe and the beauty and savagery of it. All I know It’s a real experience so get down to the Tate before it’s gone.
